Plasmet

Plasmet is our abrasion-resistant range of protective coatings and surface-tolerant primers.

These high-performance products are formed from a selection of durable materials to offer versatile protection to a wide range of operational environments. Specially engineered Plasmet coatings are available in differing grades to add extra reassurance when faced with extreme abrasion challenges.

Plasmet AR3

A two-pack, solvent-free, polyamine cured epoxy, resistant to strong concentrations of sulphuric and other acids

Plasmet AR3 – lining repair

Where mechanical damage has occurred to the PLASMET AR3 lining, this can readily be repaired provid- ing the product has not been in service or, where the product has been in service, it is not contaminated or degraded due to chemical attack.

Plasmet Corrosion Provention

Plasmet AR3 Screed

A hardwearing, slip-free, three-pack, solvent-free polyamine cured epoxy screed, resistant to strong concentrations of sulphuric and other acids.

Plasmet Corrothane AP1

A two-pack, solvent borne, isocyanate-free polyurethane/acrylic top coat.

Plasmet ECP

A high-solids, low viscosity, two or three-pack epoxy primer with excellent adhesion to damp surfaces.

Plasmet EP1

A high solids, two pack, amine cured epoxy compounded with both stainless steel and glass platelets, and silicon carbide.

Plasmet Epoxy Injection Grout & Resin

A two-pack cold cured epoxy injection material with high tensile strength.

Plasmet Galvcoat

Coating for galvanised steel. A single pack coating based on a synthetic polymer and containing barrier pigments.

Plasmet Genmend

A polyamine cured general purpose two-pack epoxy putty. A general purpose filler, repair compound and adhesive, with excellent bonding to many types of surface.

Plasmet HTE

A hardwearing, slip-free, three-pack, solvent-free polyamine cured epoxy screed, resistant to strong concentrations of sulphuric and other acids.

Plasmet Masonry Guard

A liquid dispersion in mineral spirits.

A polyamine cured, high solids, two-pack glass-filled epoxy with good gloss and chemical resistance.

Plasmet ZF

Plasmet ZF Corrosion Protection

Plasmet ZF – a corrosion-inhibiting coating from Corrocoat is now available in a  400ml aerosol for easy application in difficult to access areas and for touch up work.

Coating with a Plasmet ZF aerosol takes much less time when compared with brush application; it also ensures that every inch of the surface is covered – even deep areas and hard to reach nooks and crannies which might otherwise be missed.

Other key benefits that users can expect are even coverage, minimal preparation; there is no longer a need to mix components on-site from separate containers, and no cleanup requirement afterward. In addition, once opened, the aerosol has a long pot life – at least 24 hours, meaning the user has time to complete a number of jobs across a site or installation.

Plasmet ZF is a tough, durable rust tolerant coating requiring minimal surface preparation, offering long term resistance to corrosion attack for applications ranging from all types of structural steelwork, tanks and pipework in many industrial sectors. Tough, durable and tolerant of vehicular traffic, Plasmet ZF can be used for protection in both immersed and atmospheric conditions.

With so many ease of use and convenience benefits, a Plasmet ZF aerosol will soon have a place in every service engineer’s tool bag – giving fast, effective corrosion protection… in an instant.
