Environmentally Sound Credentials

Corrocoat solutions offer an environmentally sound option capable of significantly extending the service life of major engineering components, with considerable savings in energy costs when compared with refabrication and making a very real contribution to preserving manmade resources.

Very high solids coatings – in many cases approaching 100% - have an extremely low VOC content and therefore very little impact on the environment. In addition, coating materials such as Fluiglide and Biofoul offer more direct energy savings by impacting on the fluid efficiency of pumping and associated equipment.

Recognition of the importance of responsible environmental management has led Corrocoat to research, develop and implement an Environmental Policy which incorporates all areas of the organisation's UK-based activities, addressing all environmental aspects over which it is possible for the company to exercise control.

Corrocoat is committed to considering the environmental implications of all its commercial activities. 

Our aim is to manage key environmental issues and communicate this commitment effectively to our customers, our workforce and the marketplace.

We are seeking to achieve this through voluntary self regulation, working to implement the following:-

·         Energy conservation programmes

·         Waste minimisation exercises

·         Provision of environmental awareness training

·         Effective environmental procurement guidelines

Implementation of environmental good practice and effective resource management is already forming an essential part of the corporate management decision making processes, further developing our Environmental Policy as an integral part of our corporate philosophy.
